1. Acceptance of these terms
These terms form an agreement between you and Saeed Abdi as the provider of Viwa. Using the app, the website, or any Viwa service means you fully accept these terms and the privacy policy.
2. What the service is
Viwa is an English learning tool that uses short movie and series scenes, interactive subtitles, AI-assisted translation, and a spaced-repetition (Leitner) system. Viwa is an educational service: it does not issue academic degrees or official language certificates, and it does not guarantee that you will reach any particular language level.
3. Your account
Most Viwa features require an account. In that regard:
- The information you enter when registering must be accurate and belong to you.
- You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for all activity carried out through your account.
- Accounts are personal and may not be shared with others.
- If you notice unauthorised use of your account, you must tell us as soon as possible.
4. Subscriptions and payment
Part of Viwa's content is free; full access requires an active subscription.
- Subscriptions are purchased through Cafe Bazaar or Myket in-app billing and are subject to that store's rules.
- The price is shown on the purchase screen. Price changes are announced before they take effect and do not affect your current active subscription period.
- A subscription ends at the end of its period, and access to premium content stops until it is renewed.
- Using any unauthorised method to bypass payment will result in your account being blocked.
5. Refunds
If a technical fault on our side prevented you from using a subscription you paid for, email support@viwapp.ir with your purchase token and we will review your request and refund it where warranted. Because payment goes through Cafe Bazaar and Myket, the refund process is also subject to that store's own procedures.
6. Institute codes
Language schools and teachers can obtain access codes for their students. Each code can be used by one account only, and its validity period is set by the issuing institute. Reselling or publicly posting these codes is not allowed and will result in the code being revoked.
7. Content and intellectual property
Regarding the content available in Viwa:
- All rights in the films and television works belong to their original owners. Viwa uses only short excerpts of these works for educational purposes as language examples and claims no ownership over them.
- The app design, software, teaching material, dictionary, grammar explanations, and the Viwa trademark belong to the service provider.
- Screen recording, downloading, redistributing, or commercially exploiting Viwa content without written permission is not allowed.
- If you are a rights holder and believe content should be removed, contact support@viwapp.ir and we will address it promptly.
8. Acceptable use
When using Viwa, do not:
- Attempt to break into, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the service
- Use the service in an automated or bulk fashion (scripts, bots) without our permission
- Use Viwa for any activity that breaks the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran
- Share your account or sell access to others
9. Service availability
We work to keep Viwa available at all times, but the service may be temporarily interrupted for updates, maintenance, or technical problems. Content and features may also be added, changed, or removed over time. If a material change affects your active subscription, we will let you know.
10. Limitation of liability
Viwa is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service. Our liability is in any case limited to the amount you paid for your current subscription period. This clause does not limit consumer rights that cannot be waived under mandatory law.
11. Suspension and termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend your access or block your account for serious breaches of these terms — such as attempting to bypass payment, unauthorised account sharing, or abusing the service. Where no breach occurred on your side, the remaining balance of your subscription will be refunded.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Iran. In the event of a dispute, we will first try to resolve the matter through negotiation; failing that, the competent Iranian courts will have jurisdiction.
13. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this page, and continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the new version.
